After selling a small specialty bakery and three coffee shops that were owned and operated in South America, it was decided to relocate in 1985. Alan lived in the U.S. for 30 years.
With interests in racquetball, building recumbent bikes, an avid coffee enthusiast, dark chocolate aficionado, photography, reading, public speaking, voice-over, acting, speaking to anything or anyone who will stand still, and writing. After more than 40 years of accumulation it’s time to publish some content.
Returning to Ecuador has been the dream for 30 years and is now complete as of 2014.
Married for 46 years has resulted in a family of four sons with 13 grandchildren, ranging in ages from 5 years old to the teenagers at 18, 16, and 13 respectfully.
