We have seen many moments that will be etched photographically into our minds and memories for eternity. I can not see this moment without being emotional. As a combat veteran I know the pain and tragedy of death. Yet this tribute to Carryn Owens, and her epic demonstration of both pain and courage, will leave all who view it deeply touched. Words are not sufficient to express my gratitude to our President for honoring Carryn Owens for her loss, and the sacrifice of Ryan Owens for our country.
