If it looks like a skunk, smells like a skunk…

Are you really sick, or just think you are? Hypochondria is when you think you’re ailing with a sickness or disease. Defined as “worrying excessively that you are or may become seriously ill that is unwarranted.” And the power of thought along that line can produce all the symptoms to mimic what is feared.

So does medicine, or the power of thought make you healthy? While you scratch your head thinking such a comment is ridiculous, consider

#Deletefacebook!

Just did it. Been on the verge for a few months, but finally tired of being used for Zuckerberg’s benefit. And it is for his benefit and no one else’s. Sure, advertisers make hay off his back, but they could care less about ethics. “Z” has fallen into the same mix like so many others that have stumbled into the billion dollar bracket.

Suddenly it’s the “all’s fair in love and war” type attitude. The general public are nothing more than pawns to be moved about for fun and profit. “Z” has without doubt been schooled by others to think he is providing some priceless service to mankind. Sorta like

Will one word describe it?

Nobody gets away with just one word. Right? A popular trend these days offers challenges to say it with 50 words or less. Tell your life story in just ten words. There are even six word efforts with examples.

Now ask yourself, do you want to be limited to the number of words to say what’s on your mind? Details! How is it possible to fully explain or describe anything without the specifics? Who really wants

Riding A Camel In Morocco

Do you dare to do…what? Is going along with conventional ideas and pressures where you feel comfortable? That’s what is generally referred to as going with the flow. Following the crowd. Doing whatever, because someone else does. You get the idea.

The opposite for most is just too scary. Daring to do what you love absolutely falls into that category. What’s more frightening is most have no idea what they love to do. You’ve heard that question. If you could do anything you wanted and money was not the objective, what would you do? Suppose you couldn’t

Altitude Sign At Jose Rivas Refuge on Volcano Cotopaxi 2017

One more Bucket List item, or sorta, removed. Since the Ecuadorian Volcano, Cotopaxi, is considered in an eruptive state, scaling to the top is still off limits. No, there is no actual eruption, at least in the sense of lava flowing from the top. No huge molten boulders flying

Up against a tree before being UP in the tree!

If you’re crusin’ then you’re loosin’! That’s one way to look at what happens if your grey matter is not fully engaged. So what’s going on up there when you’re just sitting, passively contemplating…nothing in particular? Have you ever noticed how your thoughts resemble popcorn? Thoughts jump randomly from one topic to another with no obvious connection. It may even seem like some sort of serendipitous place to be, as it rarely leads to the negative. How can that be known? Ahh…well personal experience of the writer is a great place to start.

Consider how many things you do on complete auto pilot? Are you thinking about your driving on your way to work, or shopping? How about the way you fry eggs, or toast bread? A good case can be made that the subconscious has taken over when you’re doing those things. That allows your thoughts to actually wander. The question is what happens

Are Major Retailers like Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, and others really in trouble? If you pay any attention to the news, the are. Why? Because they are closing down stores, and in the case of Neiman Marcus, supposedly putting themselves up for sale. However no concrete claim is being made just yet.

What is hitting the news is that this is all about a “soft economy.” Is it really? Are we just being introduced to another “flame” geared to scare the daylights out of all of us? Well, here’s a no nonsense

Being led by the Piper

It’s pretty obvious the “liberals” want to eliminate all the opposition to their lawless agenda. They have been responsible by their very actions for the removal of more than 45 million potential adversaries over the last 44 years. Actions that support putting in place non-elected bureaucrats. Who uphold choices by these liberals to make certain this action continues to favor efforts clearly directed at the destruction of any conservatism in our society.

It has now degenerated to the point of an absolute depreciation of any semblance related to the values this nation was created with. The constitution is viewed as a relic of the past and basically worthless

The “Trump Train” has left the station!

I may not have been present in Washington D.C., or anywhere nearer to my President than FOX News that fortunately extends 4000 miles away, but in spirit I was with him since the first time he played with the idea of being a candidate in 2011. The very first thought was, finally someone who is not a politician!

We as a populace have been lied to so many times by politicians, that we have almost become inured to it, which I suspect is what they have always counted on. Once they’re in power

Rosa Ortega jailed for voter fraud in Texas

Rosa Ortega thinks she’s being picked on, treated unfairly, being made a “scapegoat” just because she voted 5 times illegally. There is also the possibility of being charged with falsifying documents, attempted falsification, and there is a question of how she became a “legal resident”
